The Right Reverend Christopher T. Cox, II.

Bishop Christopher T. Cox Jr. is the founder and Senior Pastor of  Family Life Worship Cathedral. This church is a growing body of Believers that currently serves in Elmont and the bordering Communities of Long Island. He was ordained an Elder in 1986 at Mt. Sinai Church of God in Brooklyn New York, through the first imposition of hands from Bishop James Balfour (Decease) who set the vocation of priesthood upon his life. He then served as one of the Associate Pastor under the tutelage of the bishop. The Prophetic office was bestowed upon him in 1989 and the Lord immediately released him and his family to the Elim International Church under the guiding hands of Archbishop Wilbert S. McKinley. (Decease) He began receiving prophetic impartation from the company of prophets. These instructions came with great distinction which allowed him to functions in that capacity. The second imposition of hands was now bestowed upon him in the month of October in the year 1992. He continued in his studies of catechism and present day truth. In August of 1994, the Archbishop released him to begin Bible study at home with the members of his family.

On January 15 of 1995, he founded Rephidim Christian Center, under the watchful eye of Bishop Harold L. Joseph and his suffragan Bishop Eric D. Garnes of the United Pentecostal Churches of Christ. In 2000 the church was renamed Family Life Worship Cathedral.

His father in the gospel Bishop Joseph began carefully to prepare him for episcopacy. With great diligence and care his father fitted him with care, concern and covering. He was then consecrated to the office on April 18, 2001 through the third imposition of hands with the anointing of Holy Oil.

In the 2000 he became the establishmentarian and chief instructor of the Called of Destiny School of Ministry. This curriculum is design to establish the protocol of holy orders. He believes that the grace of God given to us with ministry gifts that is imparted into our lives is needed in the body of Christ for this eschatological season, but without proper protocol we will not fulfill our God given destiny.
